NPSWC
HBCU Scholarship
The Historically Black College and University Scholarship is the result of an initiative and partnership between NPSWC, Inc. and the Nutrien company. This scholarship, part of a diversity and inclusion grant, will be awarded to a high school senior who attends an HBCU.
The deadline to apply is April 15th.

To qualify applicants must:
1)Be a senior in one of the high schools in the five counties we serve
2) Provide a letter of acceptance to a college
3) Provide an official high school transcript
4) Submit the completed the application, including the required essay

*A student selected to receive the scholarship must provide a schedule or verification of enrollment
before funds are disbursed.
Essay on Scholarship application:
Submit an essay, no more than one typed page, entitled “Why I decided to attend.
The Jamal Jones Memorial Scholarship is available to individuals with Sickle Cell Disease who are pursuing post-secondary education. The deadline to apply is August 15th. To qualify, applicants must:
1) Provide a letter of acceptance to a college or a transcript of current courses at a college
2) Provide a high school/college transcript
3) Submit the completed the application, including the required essay

The Claire Martin-Combs scholarship is given annually to African American women who are high school seniors from the Craven, Jones, Pamlico, Carteret and Beaufort counties.
